Ikotun's player-two spot
Everybody has a player one: the person they came with, the plate they always order, the game they never lose. Pixelplates is the spot that shows up as player two.
Built out of one simple problem
In Ikotun you could get good food or a good game: rarely both, never in the same room. So we built one: arcade lights, cold coolers, a real kitchen and screens loud enough to make a Tuesday feel like a final.
We opened with two consoles, a pool table and a menu of things we genuinely eat. The crowd did the rest: students, 9-5 escapees, birthday squads, couples on the low. Now the lounge fills up on nights nobody planned for, and that's exactly the point.
Come find usThree things we never cut corners on
Food first
Everything is cooked to order: jollof and asun rice, hot swallow and soups, fried chicken with real pepper. No microwave energy.
Games always
PS5 leagues, pool, darts, retro cabinets and VR. Whether you came to sweat or to spectate, there's a seat for you.
Community over everything
Regulars know the staff by name. Strangers leave as squad members. That's the Pixelplates part people can't copy.
"Great food. Great games. Great memories."
That's not a slogan we printed on a wall. It's the order of operations. Eat properly, play till your thumbs hurt, leave with a story. Then do it again next weekend.
